The B&P Opus belt press is a continuously operating single belt press for all types of fruit and berry mashes.
The pressing of juice on the Opus belt press takes place between the first large press roller and the press belt. This press roller revolves slowly and the mash is optimally distributed over the entire width of the belt. 70% of the juice is already extracted here using low pressure. The gentle pressure guarantees that even the most difficult mashes can be pressed.
After each press roller, a scraper prevents the product from being added back. After the final press roller, the pomace is removed from the belt with a scraper and then the belt is cleaned with rotating brush rollers. Ongoing water cleaning is not necessary. Therefore water is not displaced into the juice. The cleaning intervals depend upon the type of fruit.
