OPUS
The OPUS belt pressThe B&P Opus belt press is a continuously operating single belt press for all types of fruit and berry mashes.

The pressing of juice on the Opus belt press takes place between the first large press roller and the press belt. This press roller revolves slowly and the mash is optimally distributed over the entire width of the belt. 70% of the juice is already extracted here using low pressure. The gentle pressure guarantees that even the most difficult mashes can be pressed.

Schema of the OPUS belt pressAfter each press roller, a scraper prevents the product from being added back. After the final press roller, the pomace is removed from the belt with a scraper and then the belt is cleaned with rotating brush rollers. Ongoing water cleaning is not necessary. Therefore water is not displaced into the juice. The cleaning intervals depend upon the type of fruit.

Advantages and features:
  • Continuous mode of operation.
  • Low headroom.
  • Very short pressing time.
  • Problem-free pressing of even the most difficult mashes.
  • Ease of operation.
  • Belt speed continuously adjustable.
  • Robust construction in stainless steel, including all of the rollers.
  • Durable.
  • Yield similar to a packing press.
  • Gentle pressing.
  • Problem-free pressing of even the smallest quantities.
  • Integrated brush belt cleaning.
  • Pendulum spray cleaning available as an optional extra.
  • Easy to clean.
  • Very good cost / performance ratio.
Technical details

Rolls:
  • First press roller with large diameter for pre-juicing.
  • All rollers made of stainless steel; the roller bearings are labyrinth sealed.
Press belt:
  • The filter belt is made of food stuff-resistant, special polyester fabric.
Product conveyance:
  • Large mash intake container with probe control.
  • Juice collection pan made of stainless steel.
  • Neither valves nor pumps are required for the juice outflow.
Pneumatics:
  • Pneumatic cylinder for belt tensioning.
  • Pneumatic belt regulator; the belt speed is continuously adjustable.
  • Pneumatic controls completely made of tubing, with pneumatic valves, pressure reducing regulator and maintenance unit.
Electrics:
  • Level regulation through probes in the mash intake funnel tube and evaluation relay.
Options:
  • The press can be optionally equipped with a lifting mechanism for the mash conveyor.
  • Spray band cleaning with high-pressure jets that are moved with a motorised pendulum arm.
  • Pneumatic lifting mechanism for the side mash conveyor for simple and effective cleaning.
